About Us:

The Ontario Construction User Council (OCUC) is a unique non profit organization founded in 1971 by a group of major corporations to represent their interests to the Province of Ontario. No other group performs this task. Members were originally drawn from all sectors of industry including oil, gas, chemicals, mining, automotive, glass, electric power, transportation etc. The Council has since expanded membership to include Construction Contractors, Consulting Engineers, Universities, Legal firms and other organizations associated with the Construction Industry.


Council Goal:

To provide a networking forum for the exchange of safety and health information, construction practices and promotion of ideas for improving customer services. The information is disseminated at regularly scheduled General Council meetings where the membership gets information, focuses on important current issues and solutions that are freely discussed with input from subject matter experts.
