Ontario Construction User Council is a unique non-profit organization founded in 1971 by a group of major corporations to represent their interests to the Province of Ontario. Its members were originally drawn from all sectors of industry including oil, gas, chemicals, mining, automotive, glass, electric power, transportation etc.
Goals and missions
Our council mission:
To improve the health & safety, quality, and cost effectiveness of Construction and Construction Maintenance Services thereby enhancing the competitive position of industry in Ontario and attract business investment to the Province.
Our council goal:
To provide a networking forum for the exchange of safety and health information, construction practices and promotion of ideas to improve customer services. The information is disseminated at regularly scheduled General Council meetings where the members get information, focus on important current issues and solutions that are freely discussed with input from subject matter experts.
